Convert project to mirror
Convert a project from copies, use folder or linked folder format to mirrored project.
Instructions
First, this tool can delete jAlbum specific project files. Read all of the instructions below, Ensure you have a backup if you want to keep the original project if you decide to delete jAlbum specific files - just in case!.
Currently, the mirror project will need to be built as a new project, future versions may change that. Also, the order of objects in the mirror project may not match that of the original project.
When the tool is run you need to have the original project selected.
Run the tool and wait for the it to finish, a message will confirm it has finished creating the mirror project. The mirror project will be saved to 'My Albums' folder and opened ready for use.
You can then decide to clean out jAlbum specific files, like the album directory and all of the hidden control files. If you do remove those files the old project will be removed from the recent projects list (restart of jAlbum required). A final message will let you know the script has completed
If something goes wrong there is a debug function that can be enabled. Open the tool in a text editor and go to line 9, change debug = false; to debug = true; and run the tool again. The debug report is printed to the system console. Copy it and paste it to a post in the 'General' forum titled 'Mirror project tool'.
